Amanda joined the Blue Cross team in September 2011. She has worked as a Veterinary Technician for over 25 years, 11 of which were spent in an emergency setting, and she has brought a great deal of experience to our practice. Amanda’s expertise has directly helped us to improve our pain control and fluid therapy protocols. She is a thorough and attentive nurse to all of our patients, while also managing surgery referrals, and pharmaceutical and diet inventories.
Amanda has always been our resident hockey mom, spending most of her free time with her husband Dan in the arena cheering for her two boys, Taz and Zack. Taz is now a parent himself, so Amanda is the proud grandmother to Zander, Zavian, and Erykah! Miley, her Pointer cross, is an energetic companion that even her grandsons can’t keep up with! Her family also adopted two adorable black cats, Monkey and Auggie, in 2015. When she’s not busy taking care of all these critters, her interests include college football and shopping.
